Hi, my name is Maryna Rosen.
Welcome to my professional practice. I am a highly experienced specialist with a PhD in Psychology, educated in Ukraine, and currently conducting doctoral research in Sweden. My career spans over 30 years as a child psychologist, with a specialized focus on developmental learning psychology and personality development for the past 20 years. I am currently a doctoral student at the Department of Education (UTV) at the Mid Sweden University, where my research centres on equality and accessibility in learning environments within leisure centres. My extensive background in psychology and education uniquely equips me to guide children, parents, educators, and institutions in nurturing holistic, multifaceted personalities capable of thriving in today's rapidly changing world.
My work is grounded in the belief that every child is born with the potential to develop into a well-rounded individual. However, the traditional educational systems often fall short of fostering this potential. I am committed to advocating for and implementing educational systems that prioritize personal development, critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork. My approach is rooted in the developmental learning theories of Elkonin-Davidov-Repkin-Dusavytskyi, which I have supported and advanced throughout my career. I believe in the power of scientifically-backed psychological and pedagogical tools to revolutionize education, and I strive to provide children and adults with the support they need to unlock their full potential.
